Cleared for takeoff · World geography · Aligned to your state's standards

Explore the world. Earn your passport.

GeoJag is a geography game. Pick a map, learn the background in short lessons, then play missions that build the skills in high school geography standards. Teachers pick their state, and students see those standards. Right answers earn XP, raise your rank, fill in your map, and stamp your passport. Your XP is exchanged for local currencies, like rupees, pesos, and cedis, that you can spend in markets around the world.

Tap a part of the map to open that edition. Every edition is its own game with its own passport.

Choose a map

The World Map Missions and the Daily Game are free. The ten Regional Map Missions are coming soon with Premium. Open any of them for a preview, or get notified when Premium opens.

The story

Fly with Jag and the crew

Jag is a young pilot from Jaipur, India, flying his grandmother's old two-seat plane around the world. You're his co-pilot. On each regional map, you land in a new city, meet a friend, and earn their place in your crew.

XP you earn on each map pays out in that region's money (rupees, pesos, cedis, won, and more), which you spend at local markets on clothing and styles from that culture to customize your pilot.

How it works

Pick a map

Start with the World for the big picture. It's free for everyone. Then zoom in on a region like South America, South Asia, or East Asia. Each map has the same five missions with questions about that place. Regional Map Missions are part of GeoJag Premium and unlock when your teacher has it.

Learn with lessons

The Lessons tab has short card lessons that teach what you need for each mission: regions, latitude and longitude, migration, people and the environment, and cause and effect. Each one ends with a quick check.

Lessons are recommended, not required. Each mission card suggests the lesson that goes with it, and finishing a lesson earns +40 XP plus +5 for each check answer you get right.

Play the five missions

  • Country Recon: read three clues and tap the country. Free hints explain each clue if you get stuck.
  • Coordinate Hunter: drop a pin on a place or on a latitude and longitude.
  • Migration Routes: why people move, and whether they chose to.
  • Shaping the Land: do people depend on, modify, or adapt to the environment?
  • Ripple Effects: predict what an event caused next.

Level up with XP

Every answer earns XP. Get answers right in a row to build a streak, which multiplies your XP up to ×2. XP raises your rank, and it also pays out in local money, like rupees, pesos, cedis, and won, that you spend at each region's market on clothing and styles for your pilot. Each map keeps its own XP and rank.

Earn passport stamps

STAMP GOLD

Score high enough on a mission set (usually 65–80%) to earn its stamp. Score 95% or better for a gold stamp. Each stamp shows that you've mastered the standards for that mission.

Questions you miss come back

When you play a new set, questions you already got right are retired, and questions you missed come back so you can try again. Each mission card shows how many questions you've mastered.

Explore and collect

Tap any country on a map to see its flag and play four quick mini-games: Flag Match, Culture Quest, Food Explorer, and Say Hello. Each win adds to your collection and earns +10 XP.

Win badges

Badges reward things like a 10-answer streak, a bullseye pin, finishing every lesson, collecting flags, or winning all four mini-games for one country. See them all on your Profile.

Turn in your progress

On the Standards & Report tab, type your name, tap Copy report, and paste it into your Canvas assignment.
