Built by a geography teacher, for geography classrooms
GeoJag started in a high school geography classroom in Washington State. The goal was simple: make the standards students need to master feel like an adventure instead of a worksheet.
What GeoJag is
Students fly through 11 maps, from the whole world to regions like South Asia and Oceania. On each map they play five missions that build real geography skills: identifying places and regions, using latitude and longitude, explaining migration, seeing how people shape the land, and tracing how events ripple across the world. Short lessons come first, and flag, culture, food, and language mini-games make each country memorable.
Every answer earns XP, every mission earns a passport stamp, and every stamp counts toward real standards: Washington's, the national C3 Framework, or those of any U.S. state.
What we believe
- Teachers should see learning, not just scores. The teacher dashboard shows standards mastery for each student as they play.
- Student data is not a product. GeoJag collects as little as possible, shows no ads, and never sells data. Read the privacy notice.
- Every student should be able to start. The World map is free for everyone, with no account needed.
