Questions

What's the starting check-in?

If you're in a class, each map starts with a 10-question check-in. It isn't graded and there are no hints. It shows you and your teacher where you're starting. Later, a final check-in asks the same questions so you can see how much you've grown, and then you'll see every right answer.

I forgot my student code.

Ask your teacher. They can see every student's code on their dashboard. If you signed in with Google, just choose Sign in with Google again.

How do I play on another computer?

Sign in the same way you did before: with Google, or with your student code. Your progress follows you.

Google says the app is blocked.

Your school needs to approve GeoJag once. Tell your teacher, and use your class code in the meantime.

I'm on a shared computer.

When you're done, open the menu with your name at the top right and choose Sign out. That clears your progress from the computer so the next student starts fresh. Your progress stays saved to your class or account.

Can I change how GeoJag looks or sounds?

Yes. Your teacher can turn on read-aloud, a glossary, fewer answer choices, no timer, or translation. Sounds are off until you turn them on with the speaker button.

What does GeoJag know about me?

Only your name, your progress, and your school email if you sign in with Google. There are no ads, and your information is never sold. Read the privacy notice.
