Privacy notice
GeoJag is a geography game for classrooms. We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the game for your class, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
Playing without an account
If you play without joining a class, your progress stays in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us.
What we store when a student joins a class
- The name the student types in when joining.
- Game progress: points, stamps, mission scores, lessons finished, and collections.
- If the student signs in with a school Google account: their school email address. We use Google only to confirm who is signing in; we don't access Gmail, Drive, Classroom, or any other Google data.
What we store for teachers
- Name and email from Google sign-in, class names and codes, and the school details sent in a Premium request.
Who can see it
A student's progress is visible to the teacher of their class and to the GeoJag owner for support. Data is stored with Google Firebase. We don't share it with anyone else, and we don't show ads.
Students under 13
GeoJag is meant to be used through a school. For students under 13, we rely on the school's authorization to collect this limited information for classroom use, and we use it only for that purpose.
Deleting data
Teachers can remove a student from their class at any time on the teacher dashboard, which deletes that student's class record and progress. Progress saved in a student's own browser stays there until they clear it. Schools, parents, and teachers can also ask us to delete any data.
